Principal / Master Stylist / Head Spa Technician
Co-owner of BMA, Sayaka was born in Japan and she has trained at industry-leading institutions such as Vidal Sassoon and Aveda. In 2016, Sayaka opened Blow Me Away Salon and was thrilled to bring organic Japanese traditions of hair care to the Los Angeles community. She is a firm believer in education and is committed to sharing her expertise with the team at BMA.
Sayaka is an expert with both shears and color, and her clients know that she can always help them achieve the hair of their dreams, starting at the scalp first.

Arisa Sorimachi
Principal/ Master Stylist / Head Spa Technician
Japanese master stylist and co-owner of BMA, Arisa Sorimachi specializes in designer haircuts and rejuvenating headspa treatments.
In the past she has worked with celebrity clients such as Britney Spears, Chelsea Kane, and Elizabeth Perkins, bringing Japanese-Modern techniques to the Hollywood-Glam aesthetic of Los Angeles. Arisa is a certified Trichologist, receiving her credentials from the International Association of Trichology, making her an expert in hair loss and overall scalp health. She has been a trusted specialist in headspa treatments for over 20 years.
Laurin Wilson
Master Stylist
With over 10 years of experience in the beauty industry, Laurin has built a reputation for delivering expert cuts, vibrant color, and personalized care. A proud graduate of The Aveda Institute, Laurin is passionate about using clean, organic, and high-quality hair products to enhance both beauty and health.
Specializing in both long and short haircuts, natural lived-in color, balayage, grey blending, vivid fashion colors, and blowouts that last for days, Laurin takes pride in creating looks that are tailored to each client's individual preferences. Additionally, she offers sew-in beaded weft hair extensions, providing clients with volume and length that feels natural and effortless.

Sasha believes that beauty should be celebrated at every age and tailors her approach to meet the vision of each client.

She began styling hair at 18 and quickly discovered how deeply rewarding it is to help clients look and feel their best. Karen, born and raised in South Bay California. Dedicated hairstylist and makeup artist with over 20 years of knowledge in the beauty industry. Currently loves cutting men’s hair and also women. She has experience with working with special needs children. Coloring and styling long hair is also one of her specialties. She is Fluent in English and Spanish.
Being new to the professional industry She has already made high profile clientele such as news anchors from FOX LA news and musicians. She loves to share her experiences and passion for healthy beauty products. Protecting herself and clients is also important to her.

She has worked in the professional beauty industry for over 15 years in a variety of roles, and Ami has experience as a hair and makeup artist on high profile films and photoshoots in both Japan and the United States.

With over a decade of experience in cosmetology, Miki combines advanced technique with a deeply personalized touch in every service she provides. As a certified Headspa technician, she specializes in holistic scalp treatments that promote scalp health, encourage natural hair growth, relieve stress, and enhance overall well-being.

Sally (Risa) Takenami
Head Spa Technician/ Master Stylist
Originally from Kyoto, Japan, Sally is an experienced head-spa technician, hair stylist, and make-up artist with 25 years in the beauty industry.
Among her many recognitions and awards, she won the JMA Paris Collection Hair and Makeup Artist audition, which led her to styling at Paris Haute Couture, Tokyo Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week. With an eye and talent for creative looks, her work has been featured in various magazines and publications around the world.
Koko
Koko is from Tokyo, Japan, and has been in the hair industry for many years. As a headspa technician, she loves to share her passion for promoting scalp health, relaxation, and overall well-being through Blow Me Away’s HEAD KURE technique: including deep scalp cleansing, massage therapy and hair revitalization treatment. With a strong background in customer care, she is committed to helping clients achieve optimal scalp and hair health while providing personalized service for each client she sees.
