Principal / Master Stylist / Head Spa Technician
Co-owner of BMA, Sayaka was born in Japan and she has trained at industry-leading institutions such as Vidal Sassoon and Aveda. In 2016, Sayaka opened Blow Me Away Salon and was thrilled to bring organic Japanese traditions of hair care to the Los Angeles community. She is a firm believer in education and is committed to sharing her expertise with the team at BMA.
Sayaka is an expert with both shears and color, and her clients know that she can always help them achieve the hair of their dreams, starting at the scalp first.

Arisa Sorimachi
Principal/ Master Stylist / Head Spa Technician
Japanese master stylist and co-owner of BMA, Arisa Sorimachi specializes in designer haircuts and rejuvenating headspa treatments.
In the past she has worked with celebrity clients such as Britney Spears, Chelsea Kane, and Elizabeth Perkins, bringing Japanese-Modern techniques to the Hollywood-Glam aesthetic of Los Angeles. Arisa is a certified Trichologist, receiving her credentials from the International Association of Trichology, making her an expert in hair loss and overall scalp health. She has been a trusted specialist in headspa treatments for over 20 years.
Eva Stumbraite
Master Colorist / Highlight Specialist
Eva is young talent from Lithuania, where her roots as a classically trained European stylist and colorist began in 2012.
Moving to the United States in 2014, Eva began her American career in Venice and Santa Monica where she found inspiration observing the local style– salt and sun-highlighted hair on surfers and beach-combers. Striving to recreate those looks in the salon, Eva’s colorwork always looks natural, lived-in, and sun-kissed. Eva has developed into a master stylist in all salon disciplines, and she feels most in her element with a pair of shears in hand.
Sasha Ito
Master Stylist
An award-winning stylist, Sasha brings over 20 years of experience from her wide-ranging career in Japan.
Highly sought after for her skills in color, cuts, extensions, and dreadlocks, her work speaks for itself, and her extensive celebrity clientele especially speaks to her level of expertise. Sasha believes that beauty should be celebrated at every age and tailors her approach to meet the vision of each client.

An innovative hairstylist with over 10 years of experience, Khoa is dedicated to delivering top-notch salon services to a diverse and discerning clientele.
He is well-versed in the art of crafting personalized, fashion-forward color, balayage, and haircuts that enhance each client’s unique features. He achieves these looks through in-depth communication, technical expertise, and meticulous attention to detail. He is committed to staying at the forefront of the industry by consistently embracing the latest trends and cutting-edge techniques.

Melanie is a Los Angeles-born hair stylist fluent in both English and Spanish. She is known for her exceptional skills in non-toxic smoothing treatments, scalp detoxification, and stunning blowouts.
Melanie embarked on her journey in the cosmetology industry a decade ago, and since then, she has been passionately dedicated to revitalizing hair and scalp health, empowering her clients to achieve their full potential with beautifully healthy hair. Ami’s clients benefit from her unique relaxation techniques and standards of excellence. She has worked in the professional beauty industry for over 15 years in a variety of roles, and Ami has experience as a hair and makeup artist on high profile films and photoshoots in both Japan and the United States.
Miki Nishimura
Head Spa Technician/ Master Stylist
Miki, a professional hair stylist, colorist and headspa technician from Los Angeles is Bilingual in English and Japanese.
She specializes in balayage, highlights, color blending grays, keratin treatments, and headspa scalp massages, always creating a unique and pleasant customer experience. Her focus is on promoting scalp care and hair growth, ensuring clients can both love their results in the salon and maintain them even at home. Miki’s commitment to excellence, building trust, and personalized care makes her a stylist who both takes pride in her work and also leaves clients completely satisfied.
Sally (Risa) Takenami
Head Spa Technician/ Master Stylist
Originally from Kyoto, Japan, Sally is an experienced head-spa technician, hair stylist, and make-up artist with 25 years in the beauty industry.
Among her many recognitions and awards, she won the JMA Paris Collection Hair and Makeup Artist audition, which led her to styling at Paris Haute Couture, Tokyo Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week. With an eye and talent for creative looks, her work has been featured in various magazines and publications around the world.
